Mantra: I create space

This week’s mantra is I Create Space.

When you think of the this particular mantra, I hope it inspires you to take stock of what is present in your life, mind, body, living & work spaces, relationships, etc to see where and how space can be made in those areas. For now we aren’t focused on what we’re creating space for, only what creating space may mean to you/me/us individually and even communally.

Creating space for me means allowing space for possibilities and opportunities. It looks like moving things, releasing things to make way for what’s coming so it/they can flow in and through with more ease.

Here is the artwork this mantra inspired. “I Create Space” is small abstract piece created with acrylic paint, ink, handpainted paper, and gold leaf foil on watercolor paper. It is approximately 6 x 6 inches in size. Each of the pieces in this series of works has an orange base/background to highlight working with sacral chakra energy. The act or practice of creating automatically channels sacral chakra energy and if one is creating space, I imagine there will be more room for flow.

The word “flow” is one of the keywords associated with this chakra.
